DJ's Calais - Nürburg Route

When I'm driving over, I just want to get there with minimum fuss and as quickly as possible without getting locked up. There are alternative routes, but this one is the one I find most reliable. Directions are from the fuel station 500M from the EuroTunnel terminal, because only masochists or tight northerners would voluntarily spend hours on a boat whilst the cool people zip across on the train. Print this off and follow it and you won't end up in Nuremberg

Depart train terminal, over bridges on A16 towards DUNKERQUE  Stop for fuel at the Total Station, reset trip mileage, rejoin A16 towards DUNKERQUE

277     First  NÜRBURGRING signpost, hurrah !

282     Right at roundabout in  DRIES. Turn left after a few yards. Beware of the tight hairpin shortly afterwards.

289     KELBERG. Left at the roundabout, signposted 8km to Ring on 257

292     Turn right at junction in MULLENBACH. 200m turn left at T-junction

294     Turn right, go under GP bridges

295     Turn left into NÜRBURG

 

Follow this road through Nürburg and you will come to the 'Ring car park/entrance.
